Payment Policies

Jewelry pieces available for sale can be purchased via PayPal. Specialized pieces are linked to Elizabeth Lassing's Etsy shop and have links directing payment to Etsy. Purchasers may use PayPal or credit cards in an Etsy check-out.

Custom Orders

Custom orders are paid for in full before the order is fulfilled. Custom ordered pieces are not refundable.

Returns/Refunds

Full refunds (listing price for a piece + shipping) may be requested within 24 hours of purchase for stock items (non-custom created) IF THE ITEM HAS NOT YET SHIPPED. Once your order has shipped, purchase can not request for shipping costs to be refunded.

Purchaser may request to return an item for a listing refund (equal to the cost of that item less the shipping cost) within 7 business days of the item's Arrival Date. "Arrival Date" is defined by the date that the package's tracking number confirms as "Delivered" to the customer. In this case, refunds may be requested, but are not guaranteed, and will be addressed on a case by case basis.

Jewelry MAY NOT BE RETURNED if it has been worn for any amount of time.

By requesting a refund within 7 business days of the Arrival Date, the BUYER AGREES that Elizabeth Lassing must inspect a returned piece of jewelry and will exercise all fairness in determining if the piece was altered, worn, or intentionally damaged in any way when considering a refund request.

The buyer agrees to return the item at their own expense if return is not due to a fault in the piece.

If Elizabeth Lassing determines that the returned piece is not suitable for re-stocking and/or a refund to the buyer, the buyer may choose to forfeit the full cost of the piece or have the piece shipped back. In the latter event, the buyer agrees to pay for the return shipping.

If Elizabeth Lassing determines that the returned piece is suitable for restocking and/or a refund to the buyer, the buyer will receive:

  • a LISTING REFUND (equal to the cost of the piece, not including the cost of original shipment) if the piece is in its original condition, or
  • a FULL REFUND (equal to the cost of the piece plus the cost of original shipment) if the piece was flawed when originally sent out to the customer.

If you believe there may be a fault or if you have incurred any damage on your piece, whether it is a non-custom or custom item, please contact Elizabeth Lassing immediately to request a repair or restoration of your piece.

Repairs/Lifetime Warranty

All Elizabeth Lassing jewelry comes with a lifetime warranty of free repair service, subject to the following provisions:


  1. The piece must not have been altered, intentionally damaged, or repaired by anyone other than Elizabeth Lassing.

  2. Lost materials are covered up to 25% with the customer responsible for the remaining 75%.

  3. In the event that a repair is requested, the customer will pay for the shipment of the item to Elizabeth Lassing for repair and Elizabeth Lassing will pay for the shipment to return the item to the customer.

  4. The customer must exercise sufficient care for the jewelry piece (see Page: Jewelry Care). Elizabeth Lassing reserves the right to exercise fairness in judgement when determining if the customer is properly caring for the piece(s) in question. Elizabeth Lassing reserves the right to refuse service and repair to any customer deemed to not properly exercise proper care of their jewelry.

  5. The customer and Elizabeth Lassing both agree to exercise courtesy, open communication, and professionalism in any transaction. Elizabeth Lassing reserves the right to refuse service and repair to any customer determined to be abrasive, uncooperative, uncommunicative, unreliable, and otherwise unable to work with Elizabeth Lassing to achieve a sound, satisfactory solution for both parties.

Shipping Policies: General

Elizabeth Lassing ships via the United States Post Office (USPS) to offer the most affordable shipping charges to buyers. If you wish for another service to be used for the shipment of your package, please request before completing your purchase.


Most pieces require a 2-5 business day processing time for your custom order to be filled. In the event that your order will require more time to complete, Elizabeth Lassing will contact you with further details. You will receive a notification once your package has been shipped. Packages being shipped within the United States will take approximately 2-5 business days for arrival; for international shipping, please allow anywhere between 2-4 weeks for arrival. Holiday seasons also lead to slower shipment time, so please order accordingly.


If you need your package to be shipped quickly, please contact Elizabeth Lassing prior to completing your transaction to request faster services and an adjusted shipping charge.


     Shipping Policies: Purchasers within the United States:

  • Tracking numbers are always included for packages shipped within the United States.

  • Packages are DELIVERED once the USPS Tracking Number confirms that the package has been delivered. Once a package is delivered according to the United States Post Office, the transaction is closed. Elizabeth Lassing is not responsible for packages that are "lost" after they have been confirmed as delivered by the USPS.

  • If your address is marked as an "Unconfirmed Address", Elizabeth Lassing will contact you to verify your address before shipping. Elizabeth Lassing will make up to three attempts to contact you; if a confirmation is not received, Elizabeth Lassing will entrust that your address has been provided correctly and will ship the package.

  • The purchaser assumes all responsibility for providing an accurate shipping address. Elizabeth Lassing is not responsible for lost packages due to incorrect/incomplete shipping addresses.

      Shipping Policies: Purchasers outside the United States:

  • Tracking information is not available for general international shipping.

  • The purchaser assumes all responsibility for providing an accurate shipping address. Elizabeth Lassing is not responsible for lost international packages due to incorrect/incomplete international shipping addresses. Because of the difficulty to validate addresses outside of the U.S., Elizabeth Lassing entrusts the purchaser to ensure the address is correct upon completing the transaction.

  • International shipping to anywhere outside of the United States can take anywhere between one and four weeks (typically slower during holidays).


Elizabeth Lassing Reserves the Right to Refuse Service

Elizabeth Lassing reserves the right to exercise fair judgement and refuse service to any individual who is abrasive, uncooperative, uncommunicative, unreliable, and otherwise unable to work with Elizabeth Lassing to achieve a sound, satisfactory solution for both parties for any transaction.


Elizabeth Lassing reserves the right to refuse service to any individual who may pose any emotional, financial, or professional detriment to the designer or the business.
